Nothing beats a good cup of coffee in the cold Baguio weather. It’s a good thing that you won’t run out of cafes to satisfy your caffeine (and Instagram) fix. One of them is Foam Coffee.
Foam Coffee is a cafe known for its minimalist interior and fluffy doughnuts. Its first branch opened in 2021 at Travelite Hotel, which is near Burnham Park and the City Hall. Then it opened a second branch along Legarda Street, and it’s where we went to.
The Legarda branch is housed in a huge space with two floors. We entered through the second floor, where we were greeted with this:
At the first floor is the roastery. I think you can do coffee tasting here (I’m just not sure if it’s for free or for a fee).
Also at the first floor is a Japanese-inspired Zen space:
There are also art toys on display scattered throughout the cafe:
Outside, you can seat at its amphitheater-style area:

As I mentioned earlier, Foam Coffee is known for its doughnuts. And as a doughnut lover, I would certify it as fluffy and yummy!
We tried their bestselling Creme Brulee, which has a crisp caramel coating. It actually reminds me of turon, a deep-fried springroll-ish Filipino snack filled with bananas. LOL. We also tried their Dark Hazelnut. I just couldn’t taste a Nutella-like flavor.
Since we went just before evening, we only got to try a couple of their non-coffee drinks, such as Apple Pie Iced Tea. I like that it’s tart and not too sweet. It also has a cinnamon flavor and what I believe are apple bits, resembling the taste of an apple pie.
My wife got the Strawberry Hibiscus Iced Tea. It has balanced flavors. But when the ice melts, the flavor gets diluted.
I have yet to try their coffee and dishes, such as the Doritos Chicken, so that gives me a reason to return. Anyway, Foam Coffee has a good space and good doughnuts, which is enough reason to return. I highly recommend it to you!
