La Parisienne (and La Parisienne Sky): A Taste of Paris in Cebu City (It’s Very Instagrammable!)

When my wife was researching for our recent Cebu trip, she found out about La Parisienne (formerly La Vie Parisienne, which literally means “the Parisian life”) and wanted to visit. Literally “the Parisian”, La Parisienne is a French/European restaurant in Cebu City famous for its Instagrammable interior.

I went to La Parisienne back in 2019 (I was still single) and had a pleasant experience. So when my wife wanted to visit, I thought, “Why not?”

Even after four years, the interior looks the same and is still charming. I love their wine cellar, which is perfect for my Instagram pic!

You can also dine al fresco, if you prefer to be outdoors.

There’s a house outside that’s converted to be another section of La Parisienne. It has a bar and a foosball table.

There’s even a replica of the Eiffel Tower:

In my 2019 visit, I only got to try its flaky and buttery croissant and yummy macarons. So this time, we’re trying other food.

We ordered their Fried Chicken, which is half chicken marinated with beer, herbs, and spices. It comes with coleslaw, cajun sauce, and mustard.

I like the fried chicken, as it’s crisp, tender, juicy. I also like the cajun sauce, which is sweet, caramelly, and spicy. The coleslaw is vinegar-based.

We also got the Garlic and Parsley French Fries, which are crisp and tasty.

We had our nightcap at La Parisienne so we also ordered some cocktails.

La Vie Parisienne also has another branch called La Parisienne Sky (formerly La Vie in the Sky). As its name suggests, this one is on the mountain, with a panoramic view of Cebu City.

As expected, it also has an Instagrammable interior.

Here, we just had Truffle Fries and Gelato.

I’m not too familiar with French cuisine so I can’t tell if the food of La Vie Parisienne is authentic. But the food is tasty and the ambiance is nice, perfect for hangouts and nightcaps. I highly recommend La Parisienne and La Parisienne Sky to you!
